IN A DEPARTURE FROM THE usual matchy matchy style of Indian bridal, where the groom's sherwani matches the bride and he never vies to outdo her, designer Rohit bal opted to deconstruct the bride's outfit and let the groom's outfit pop in candy colours. Lenghas, sarees, and shalwar suits were kept to a strict palette of the lightest tone of ivory and an antique yellow gold. To keep with this neutral theme, the makeup was a diffused smokey eye, coffee-coloured lips and wispy, doll-like lashes.
